Public Art

Public artwork can reflect the community or communicate a mission. Whether it is a private space or a public one, I enjoy creating large scale work that enhances and entices. These commissions give me the opportunity to play with new materials or subject matter that I would not likely explore with my personal work. Contact me if you have a project you would like to discuss.

I have been so pleased to have Amy participate in the Dayton Metro Library ReImagining Works art program. Amy has won several commissions first and foremost because she has extraordinary talent as an artist, creating engaging and thoughtful works that appeal to all ages. But what stands apart in her submissions is her understanding of what ReImagining Works is trying to acheive both for the library and for the artists. She does her homework to incorporate communituy interests and feedback, adapting her works to reflect the diversity of library users and unique features of our new libraries.
