Library Proposal Explained : New Lebanon

This is my recently submitted proposal for the the Reimagining Works project, a collaboration between the Dayton Metro Library and the Dayton Art Institute, for the New Lebanon branch. The response to this work by friends was very interesting because they felt it was completely different from my typical artwork. I see it differently, because I work with a lot of patterns, plant forms and line work, so this seemed very true to me, just simplified.

My goal with this project was to keep it under $4,000, since the budget for this location was $20,000 total for 2-5 artworks. I was able to do this by keeping the imagery fairly simple and by using prefabricated materials.
