The piece is 12"x16". It is a part of the Wasp in a Wig Series and is referring to the death of my cat Proffit, who was the inspiration for the Cheshire cat in this series.

I had considered the piece finished, but then after several months I brought it back into the studio for a revamp and I am very glad I did!
