Some days you just have to get on your horse and ride…

BAD BASHO NEWS: I had planned to remind you about the Basho Apparel opening on Friday, but I just got an e-mail last Wednesday that after months of planning, drawing and framing, the show has been canceled. Even worse, they shut down the Dayton location. I can not begin to express how disappointed I am at how this all went down and for Downtown Dayton’s loss. On to happier news…

WORKSHOP: I will be leading the Monet and Merot workshop at Decoy Art Boutique and Studio on Thursday, July 12 from 6-9pm. Deadline is July 7th to register! A fun, no-pressure painting evening!

GALLERY: My painting, Contained, was accepted into the Along 71: A Traveling Exhibit. I will have a painting at the Ohio State Fair and the Dayton Visual Arts Center’s Members Show. Don’t forget that the ‘Alice’ paintings are still on display at the Fitton Center for Creative Arts until August 17th.

NEW: After a minor set-back, I am back up and running on the website. I have updated the recent sales as well as updated the new paintings: Junc Yard, Curiouser and Curiouser (Knotty Alice), Mouton Rouge, The Madness, Cheshire Tree, Missing the Cheshire, Wanderland, Above and Hermon’s Place. They are all in the beginning section under Wasp in a Wig.

Thank you for staying connected!
