"That Naughty Pipe" Coloring Book

15.00

Unlike other adult coloring books, That Naughty Pipe brings to life a brand-new dark fantasy short story by Rob E. Boley featuring a mash-up of the classic Pied Piper of Hamelin fairy tale and the mischievous imps known as gremlins, with a few nods to the cult movie by the same name. The story is whimsically illustrated by Anderson’s surreal aesthetics.

What materials can I use on the book? This 28 page, perfect bound soft cover book is beautifully printed on 80# uncoated "cover" paper which can stand up to most any art making material you can imagine without bleeding through to the other side.

Is this coloring book for children? Well, it depends on the kids. The story notes that the piper lights his "magic pipe" and there are some rat zombies, so probably not best for the little ones.

What if I don't like to color? No worries! Between the original story and intricately detailed drawings, you will still have a lot of fun with this original work of art!

How was this coloring book created? This unique book started with Rob Boley's story. From there we conceptualized some of the images and launched a Kickstarter campaign on April 20, 2016. The book was fully funded and now included numerous "Naughty Backers" who chose perks to be written and drawn into the final book. Then Amy Kollar Anderson got to work drawing out the images using the app Procreate on the iPad Pro with the Apple Pencil. You can see these drawing in action on her YOUTUBE CHANNEL. The finished book was printed in Dayton, OH and can now be a part of your home library!
