It is not an understatement to say that Apple Inc. has changed the world. Like many, our house is filled with Apple products, yes, we are an Apple Fangirl and boy, no doubt.
So when Wright State University invited Apple co-founder, Steve Wozniak, better known as The Woz, as a guest in the Presidental Lecture Series on February 4, 2015, it was suggested that my husband, Mark Anderson, Director of Web Development and Strategy, Office of Marketing, might be the perfect person to moderate the discussion. Thrilled and terrified, he accepted the opportunity.
A truly delightful evening! The Woz was very entertaining with his stories of adventures past and present. My favorite moment by far was when he discussed accessing items in his house, like his Tesla, via his iPhone, and how when he is traveling he will honk the horn to tell his wife he is thinking of her. With that, he pulled out his phone and did just that, and I could picture his wife at home watching the live stream and smiling as horn sounded out from the garage.
If you missed the live stream, you can catch a summary and video at Dayton Business Journal.
