Dust in the Wind - Studio Images February 26, 2019 Amy Kollar Anderson This painting measures 14” x 11” and is acrylic and pouring medium on panel. Glaze of iridescent green around transfered bird drawings. Detail of left lower bird. My fave because the underdrawing looks like a rib cage. Layer of teal brushwork around birds to make them pop. Detail of upper left bird. You can see the layers within the drawing. Detail of upper bird. Adding linework over the transferred image. Lower left with added purple lines and details. Love that drip! Lower bird with added lines. I love being able to see the layers beneath. The "dust" is painted black/gold circles with a very pale blue painted around them. White dust first layer complete. I will add two more layers before it is finished. In the studio. Upper "halo" will be removed later. Too distracting. Detail of finished upper bird. Detail of right bird. Detail of final left bird. Detail of final upper left bird with crazy quilting. The finished painting is available.
